Wedding vows from John & Julie
Here are the original wedding vows of John & Julie M., who were married on April 26, 2003. We were there and it was a heart-opening ceremony.
Julie to John
You fell from the sky into my life,
and I haven’t been the same since.
Bright eyes, warm smile,
tender heart, incredible soul,
you’ve captured my heart.
I promise to love you,
take care of you,
laugh with you and cry with you,
listen to you,
be compassionate to you,
and have fun … just have fun
living with you,
long after my body goes back to the earth
and my spirit to the sky.
John to Julie
I will lift you up and support you through times of laughter and tears.
At our brightest moments and darkest hours I will be there without judgment.
Compassionate and equanimous, I will be.
I will encourage you in your endeavors and nourish your spirit as we walk through this life together.
As we face the impermanence of our beings and bodies, our love will remain as a force for eternity.
I will always allow you to be you.
I will always love you.
